I'd like to have one of these....customized with a 5 speed stick, frame connectors, t-tops and staggered wheels...

You should look for one in Iowa. There are a lot of the older birds floating around. I know of one right now sitting in a garage up on jack stands. Been there for a while and looks pretty nice. I almost bought one years ago for cheep. Kid was drunk and wanted to sell it because he was tired of putting money in it and it did not run right. New paint, shaker hood, and rebuilt 400. I could have bought it for 900 bucks that night. Some one else bought it for 700 and fixed the intake gasket and it ran good. Daddy with too much money = kid with no respect for cars or sense.

For me it would be a 80 Monte Carlo Turbo warmed up a little. O wait that is what I am building. My first love is a 79 Monte Carlo. If I had the time and money. I would build a frame that would handle any thing and a twin turbo 6.0. My second choice would be a 70 SS split bumper Comaro, and then a tricked out 87 T-Type.

1968 Dodge Charger Pro-Touring.

Prolly keep it a big block chrysler, even thought a modern hellcat motor would be cool. It would be a 6 speed tremec tr6060. Coilovers, tubular control arms etc. Factory interior, but modern race seats.

I used to want a 70-72 Chevelle SS, but I'm starting to see those in my area.

I'd like a 66 Chevelle.
  1. UMI Stage 5 Suspension
  2. LS3 Twin Turbo . 700+ rwhp
  3. mini tubs w/ at least a 305 tire in the rear
  4. Strengthen frame/paint frame
  5. Upgraded Brakes
  6. Vintage Air
  7. Built 4l80e trans w/ 3k+ stall
  8. Built rear w/ 4.11 gears
  9. 2k+ watt rms sound system
  10. Interior built by @stichedbyslick
I want the ability to run 9's on drag radials...11's on street tires.

There are a number of cars I'd like, but I'd do almost the exact same stuff to all of them. 66 Chevelle, 70-72 Chevelle, 85 Monte Carlo SS, 96 Impala SS, Trailblazer SS.

Mine would be a 78 Monte Carlo, all aluminum front end ie: core support, rare 78 monte aluminum hood etc.., UMI front and rear suspension, shwartz chassis, LS power, t56 6 speed, ford 9", 4.11 gears. The list goes on, my dream car would be a buff version of my 78.

Truthfully, I have built everything I ever wanted. Because I work in perpetuity the next project is always the best one.

I willl be looking at getting my MCSS sorted out really soon, however this one may never be "done" - as it always was a work in progress.

I figure a JY turbo 4.8L, a manual trans, 4.56s will get it motivated. Other than that I am just going to lighten it up as much as possible with composite parts - might even try my hands at carbonfiber. I also want to fully mini-tub the car and have a set of 390s sitting inside the rear wheel wells. I'd like it to run 9s and pull wheelies.

One thing is for certain, these changes will only occur over the coming Winters - Summer is for driving.

Hmmm, there are several but a couple on the short list.

1962 Biscayne 2 door sedan, fuel injected 409/6-speed, COPO style but updated amenities
1969 Impala 2 door, frost green/black interior. Fuel injected LS7/6-speed auto, pro-touring suspension/wheels/tires.
1950 Belair 50's/60's style chopped top custom, I have a hankering to chop a top. Old school SBC/3 dueces, bass boat paint, and looooooow

Drove a 69 like this in high school
