Definitely restomod all day long. If it doesn't make it go faster, stop better, or turn mo' betta, I ain't interested. However, I do like it to look stockish.

"It's how you use it that counts."
If it's a cruiser, go Old School. These cars do make good cruisers with a simple suspension & steering rebuild.
If it's a racer, stiffen that b**** up and embrace advancement! We've come a long way in performance over the years. Restomod is actually hard to avoid.

I mean really, when it comes to project cars classification is only determined by intention. It's rare that we ever truly reach those goals and in the mean time our cars remain more similar to each other than we realize. A few more horsepower here, shocks and springs there, maybe some aftermarket wheels, and you drive it when you can. I guess for me it's hard to classify a car until it's gone off the deep end in some direction.

Not sure how to answer this one. Mine is kinda an old school restomod with a carbed SBC, T5, Camaro serpentine drive, Blazer brake swap, some UMI bits....

I have always considered my Monte to be "Pro Street" I really don't think any other category really fits my car.

Mine is definitely old school restomod with a touch of original, obsessive compulsive, attention deficit disorder and as previously mentioned old fart-itis. Throw in a little of tightwad and "crap" I can't believe I paid that much for it and there you have it.
Simple, no frills car

I was thinking of the "Old School" vs "Restomod" question right after I started this thread and wanted to reply but got distracted until now. I'm really thinking that the definition of "Old School vs Restomod" is in the "Eye of the Beholder" but there is definitely a direction that any given car leans in. In my mind, for example an LS swap is part of a Restomod and small upgrades to the brakes or suspension are not Restomods.
