If you get an LT1 style you can buy a plate for it to fit the LS

So no need to search for another trans if you decide to go LS

Any links Turna?

Look for a CD01 trans from a Infinity G35 or G38. 6 speed RWD and commonly used for 2JZ swaps making 700whp. Easy to find adapter plates for chev Bell housing and about the same size as a T56.

Oh ya. Cheap as hell.

😉

Interesting the 350Z it came out of had nearly identical specs as the V6 in my Challenger. The weird remote mount shifter would have to be addressed and the 3.79 first gear would be to much for anything with low end torque plus a ho hum .79 od ratio in 6th. Although the the factory .50 T-56 6 gear is too tall, the rest of the ratios are more useable.

Actually the .50 OD would be perfect for me. 1900 rpm at 75 works for me...

Actually, it more like 1725 RPM at 75 mph and 1840 RPM at 80 mph with 25" tall tires.
