The green and black attack;). With a 8.1 and 4L80E, you couldn't wipe the smile off your face flooring it and would just be more reliable. I didn't drive my In Law's 85 4 door GMC long box, 3/4 ton 2wd very much. It was the last brand new truck my Father In Law bought but the 350 was barely enough for that big monster. He used to let my Wife and her Sister only drive it to school, almost never the car. He knew they wouldn't want to be seen in the Hutterite mobile:), trying to keep them out of trouble.

Not much to update I was spread thin today but I did get a lot of the plumbing done on the rig this morning just a few more connections and it's on to the next step. Had to stop do to lack of parts I ordered that didn't show up. So the early afternoon was spent splitting wood with Lauren before I went to my brother's to take part in parting an 87 442. Yes I'll post it in the for sale adds with his contact info

Small update for you guys. I lucked out last night at work. The shop was empty the painter (the owners son) wanted to change the oil in her F-250 and the other body man was having car trouble. So with the shop staying open on personal projects I got them to let me bring in my truck. Of course there probably going to make me work twice as hard but that's ok because if I keep up this progress I'll be out of there this spring.
So apon bringing it in I wanted to oncs and for all get those rear brakes working. In reckord time I pulled bolth rear axles and drums and immediately found the problem. Just as I expected months ago when I put all new rear brakes and hardware in it I was being rushed to get the truck out of shop and I put the adjusters on the wrong sides therefore when I backed up and hit my brakes the adjusters back themselves off. Quick fix but that's a lot of brake drum to take off lol. While I was there I grabbed the two new rear cables that I previously purchased from RockAuto and installed them. Hopefully by the end of today I'll have a complete working parking brake system because the parking brake has got to go. it's been a long time coming with a lot of setbacks but I'm finally going to have a complete working brake system just in time too cuz we're supposed to be getting a snowstorm this weekend. but then again since when can the weatherman predicted weather it's going to snow and less it don't and it could be sunny unless it rains. Janet Subaru went into the dealer today for its free serviceso no matter what I dive into I can't dive too deep because I could need the truck in a moment's notice it being our only vehicle today.
In other news I sold the 6 mismatch Bud rims and tires tires that came off the truck the other day to a guy that needed rollers for a project. I think I'm going to start listening things that aren't making me money or getting put to good use from around the yard and house maybe I can come up with enough for a Miller trailblazer that way. If I do it will be like it didn't cost me anything. If any of you need something I may have just pm me and,, make me an offer, I can't refuse.

No but I did find out that they are 73 only. And I found a really weird set that I don't know what there from in my stash where most are flat across the top they are con caved the length of the valve cover kind of cool looking no good for clearance issues though.
