They definitely do, a lot of them are friends and family of people who are driving so they have some skin in it. It's a fun crowd, easy going people. It is exciting to watch, the track is a 4/10 mile oval and the cars are going 100 mph in the straightaways. And the majority of the drivers are kids, some don't even have their licenses. And the stands are about 15 feet from the track, so there are no "bad seats".
Say no more, we are on the same page hahaha! But now that Cranberry is yuppie central, there is no in-between in Butler. It either a bunch of white girl soccer moms or Uncle Cletus and Bubba still running the farm. Still, I find the crowd at Lernerville refreshing. If you pay attention to the news at all, it sometimes seems like the whole world has gone soft. Meanwhile, go up to Lernerville and if you aren't a member of the NRA who showed up wearing a rebel flag shirt and just shouted 15 words that would be considered "politically incorrect" by today's standards, you are in the minority.
