Watching the live unveil of the 2020 mid-engine Corvette.

Mark Reuss (GM President) just now said not all pricing available and wouldn't disclose all pricing, but the starting base MSRP will be under 60K. DAYUM!

It's bad *ss. Z51 version is 495 HP 6.2L V8 all new design with dry sump oiling system. 0-60 mph in <3 seconds.

Even heavily optioned probably up toward $100K, it is still cheap compared to a comparable 911, Ferrari, Maserati, etc.

Glad to see it finally happened while I'm still breathing. Been talking about the rear/mid engine Vette for at least 3 decades.

You can see touches of past concept cars Chevy did ages ago. The car to me has a few touchs of the 2019, roof and 1/4 window. What do you get for $60 K in ANY of the 3 pony cars? Hell a nice new Blazer cost $52 plus, and you only get a 300 + hp. 6. I’m old enogh to remember when a new Vette cost between 4 and 5 K. I’ll never be able to buy one, but I’ll keep playing the lottery. Can’t wait to see them compete against the rest of the worlds super high priced cars.

Vettes never had to compete with the rest of the cars, Vettes used to be in a world all it's own and those other high priced cars had to compete with the vette. Now that has all been changed and it has not looked like a Vette since C6
