Do you have a g-body?
Yep. Sorry not great with intros. I have an 88 MCSS (w t/tops) that I bought 2 years ago, only 82,000 original miles. The exterior is pretty rough paint wise, no rust though. The interior is pretty flawless, other than the carpet. I left the car pretty much stock at this point just pulled all the CCC stuff off, added headers, new exhaust and got it mechanically sound. I used to race dirt stock cars back in the day and grew up working on cars. Pulled a ton of old G Body's out of the junk yards and turned them into racecars, first one I've ever owned for the street. Don't worry y'all I only took really badly wrecked ones/rusted ones and turned them into racecars.

It looks much worse than that right now unfortunately. This was in my buddies shop. I don't currently have a shop and have to constantly cover the car up (t-top leaks bad, I'm fixing it this spring). I also live on a dirt road so it's hard keeping it clean.

I also have a buddy that was a former paint and body guy. We are going to be painting it at some point in the near future. Want to get all the t-top stuff fixed first.

Hate to tell you most T-top cars leaked from the factory , at least now there's replacement body parts A Pillars & the section across the top of windshield . NOT a cheap project . Good Luck with sealing the top up.

My car isn’t rotted too bad, just surface rust. I already pulled it apart when I got it. Going to get it all patched up this spring. A pillars and header are pretty good.
