    After buying some cheapie replacements from Amazon years ago that seemed to just barely keep the hood up until they failed, I ended up buying some Duralast hood struts from AutoZone if you are not looking for stock replacements these work well.

    I bought an Ebay 14" air cleaner for my Regal and the original cheap element was 14 inches O.D. and fit snug but the rubber seals deteriorated after a year so I bought an Edelbrock element to replace it and that one measures 13 and 7/8 inches and has a slight amount of wiggle room.

    On my Monte I ran 15x8's with 4 in backspacing all around and had 245 60's on the front and 275 60's on the back with no issues.

    If it were me I would run a new line from the combo valve to the rear flex hose and if you use Cunifer or Nicopp tubing it is easy to bend, flare and route.

    I have the Jegs crossmember in my Regal, it's a nice piece for the price (got mine on sale) and worked well with the SBC but the spacing for the exhaust would never work for my BBC, since it goes straight back off the collector.
