One thing you have to also consider is the size of the rims, a 15" Tire will have a bigger section width than a 17" or 18" tire of similar dimensions

I have a 180 in my Monte with a 565 Big Block and in my Regal with a 355 SBC and both are running big Griffen radiators with dual Intrepid fans, no cooling issues at all with either car with the 180 thermostat.

The first set of rims I bought for my Monte long ago were 15" x 8" with 4" of backspace and I ran a 275/60R15 and they fit well without a frame notch.

It's been nice here the last two days so I drove my Regal to work both days. I am on the road all day in the work truck so my counter guy gets asked questions about my car all day long and he doesn't know a thing about cars.

I just used a Bic barbecue lighter for maybe 10 seconds on the tab and twisted it off with channel locks, it came off no problem.

If it was me I would just swap them they are different so put them in the right spot

I have 295/55R15 MT Drag Radials on the rear of my Monte on 9.5" rims and I did a frame notch to give me the needed clearance.

The Regal is lowered 1" and it has 17" x 8.5" all around with 275/50 rears and 235/50 fronts.
