bad valve seals slowly leak oil into the cylinder when the motor sits causing it to blow black smoke on start up. i'm thinking your rings are going out. if that the case oil will get into the cylinder when running and will smoke worse when revved up. the gunk on the plug is burnt oil

yea those busa powered mini's are by far the coolest thing i've seen and best idea anyones had in a while. to bad its so hard to find mini's where i live. plus with my funds it would take me years to build one

sounds like a pissed off chain saw with chambered mufflers. inmo that's a pointless swap. all the money to swap that in and make it work. only to have an under powered muscle car that sounds terrible. i have nothing against rotary powered cars, i think they're pretty cool. the rpm's those motors...
