The one circled with ? is your Temperature gauge or idiot light. The one to the right of that is your Temperature sensor, ECM takes reading of that for open loop , closed loop, TCC lock up.
Never liked those tower clamps don't trust them. It's the rust that starts to form on the inside the end of the screw that you cannot see and once the happens the clamp starts to loose its tension.
If we were replacing A.I.R hoses at the dealership we would use regular hose clamps. If I remember correctly there was a service bulletin stated that it was ok to use a hose clamp. It's very possible I have a copy of that.
