I had a similar problem with a mustang ended up being the throttle position sensor. It would bog down then it wouldn't down shift back to 3rd even if you put peddle to the floor. Other thing could be the speed sensor.

hi everyone new to forum, I own a 79 grand lemans and I was thinking about putting T-Tops on it off a donor car. My question is what car would be best candidate ? I was thinking Malibu but was wondering if the Malibu was ever offered with T-Tops,does anyone know if they were?
