so wires dont even need to be run to the transmission? or how would that work than? The gauges are run from the harness connected to the firewall on the drivers side, correct? Im running an Edelbrock 600 cfm carb, and the distributor is in... i have the new engine ready to drop back in... just...

so everything attached to the computer that doesnt go up into the dash --- gone, correct? just verifying, because im not sure if was getting conflicting information. hah. once again, trying to avoid hangups.

with that in mind... what all needs to be kept in terms of wiring running into the engine bay from the computer? I'm keeping the 2004r... Got the lockup, running a manual choke for now... got my tv setup installed.. but im just trying to get those ugly wires out.

i got the TCI auto kit. I heard it was for the 700.. you just cant use some components. gonna switch rig it i think hah, im not used to this small block stuff.. i come from the world of 80's Toyota 4 cylinders... which resembles more of a lawnmower engine than anything.

Man, the world would have a hell of a lot more G bodies if everyone fixed rust the right way. Good walk thru -- you should throw up a more detailed bit and get it stickied.
