Dorman # 47034 is the replacement grommet for the top(air cleaner side).For the valve cover side, ill have to do some research because when i replaced mine, i think i had to find one that would work.....Re-use the tube. :) Then again i may have used the same one on both ends...

This may sound silly but what about rigging up a servo, like the one these guys use on scale model aircraft to control the flaps and ailerons and such. I know they are strong enough. Just a couple of wires and it could be opened or closed with the flick of a switch , or some other way.

Oh yea, ive had it apart, put all new bulbs in. They just always seemed i guess "less than desired" lol. And yes the dimmer switch works too.

I'll throw mine in for it. 1987 Salon , untouched and unmolested, other than i tinted the windows to help save on the sun fading the interior which is still like new.110k miles.
I can choke it with my hand and shell smooth out, or i can manually use the choke butterfly(on top).
