    LSX Stand-Alone Harness

I miss-read his post. Actually, it's $1100. $850 for the harness and $250 for the ECM re-flash. The TCM re-flash is included in the harness price but, it's $200 if you get it done stand-alone.

    LSX Stand-Alone Harness

Unfortunately, I don't have a harness to re-work so, I'm going to have one built. I talked to CBM and it looks like about $1050 for the harness and having the ECM re-flashed. What was your impression of (Bill) @ BP? Just looking at their web site, it looks like they would be about $200...

    LSX G-body Swap Write Up

There is a lot of information on GM transmission dimensions and gear ratios here: http://www.crankshaftcoalition.com/wiki ... nsmissions For me, going from a 700-R4 to a 4L60E will move the engine (bell housing mounting surface) forward 15/16". Since both transmissions are the same length, it...

    LSX G-body Swap Write Up

As 85GPLef41 recommended, the LS1 Tech forum is the best source for information on installing every version of "LSX" engine in every type of vehicle you could imagine. I also found the "Chevy LS Engine Conversion Handbook" by Shawn Henderson to be a very good information source for LS...

    LSX Stand-Alone Harness

I already have the engine ECM and pedal out of an 06 Vette but, no harness. I know - at least some of - my limitations and, this is one. I have no problem with the mechanical of the swap but, when it's installed and I turn the key, I want it to run just like when it was in the Vette.

    LSX Stand-Alone Harness

I'm gathering parts for installing an 06 Corvette LS2 in my 83 El Camino. I have the engine, transmission and ECM but, no wiring harness. The engine came with all the accessories and, I'm planning to use the stock fuel injection. I'm looking for sources for a stand-alone harness and...

    C6 Corvette Power Steering Pump

Anyone know the pressure/flow rate for a C6 Corvette PS pump - VS - a stock G=Body pump? During a recent read on quick ratio boxes and the difference in turning effort between them and the stock boxes, it was suggested that the difference in turning difficulty was mostly related to pump...

    LSX G-body Swap Write Up

You meant the motor mounts won't work, right? Since I'm already running the 700-R4 and G-Force cross member, hopefully, it should just be a matter of attaching the LS to the transmission and using the slider front mounts to attach the motor. Then come the test as to whether the right bank will...

    LSX G-body Swap Write Up

I don't see the Holley link you mentioned but, visiting their web site, they offer a number of mounts that will move the engine forward, or back, or up. I have the "Chevy LS Engine Conversion Handbook" by Shawn Henderson. It's one of the best "how to" books I've seen. He, and others I've read...

    LSX G-body Swap Write Up

I've read comments on this forum as well as LS1 Tech about pax side clearance problems or having to modify the factory AC box to clear the #7 coil - some yes, some no. Can anyone clarify? Is it a matter of which mounts you choose? Thanks. There is a ton of great info here.
