Re: Surprise - A glimpse of what I've been upto!
Ton of very nice work on the car. Its just not my style. I prefer more of a stock type look but the work you have done is excellent just not what i would do. But i suppose if we all did the same things the world would be a pretty boring place...
Thanks for the kind words guys. sorry for the late reply. Best et to date is a 10.71 on a 50 shot. car has been 11.13 on motor with a 1.48 60 foot. on n2o i have been 1.40. the rear frame rails are factory and it has a 9 inch that is 1 inch narrower than the stock 10 bolt so i can run 3.5...
heres my pig. started life as a 3.8 liter california car i got off ebay for 3000. never been painted and not a spot of rust outside or underneath.
3875 pounds reaching for the sky on the radials!
pretty self explanatory. i used sheet aluminum to make the panels. did the lower one first and sealed it on the inside edge with caulk. then put the lid on and made the upper piece and sealed it as well. used rivets to hold it all together.
i agree completely unk. i bought mine from ca. about 4 years ago because it was rust free. the car has remained untouched bodywise besides the fiberglass hood and will remain so. the paint is far from perfect but its original and rust free. that guy is destroying all the character that car once had.
