That’s a good idea. I don’t care about not having true buckets. That doesn’t bother me.

I hadn’t thought about the seat being thinner over the hump, good call. I guess another option would be pulling the covers off the bench and having an upholstery shop use that to cover a set of buckets.

Hey bud, is there any chance you can snap a pic of how you have the cable attached to the shifter bracket on the column? I ended up getting the Lokar kit, but it’s a no go.

I got the BRP sending unit with the Walbro pump. This things about 3” too tall for the EFI tank I have. Anyone else running this sending unit/pump?

Do you have pics of your setup per chance? Did you just use the cable from a B&M shifter you already had?

Are you using long tube headers, too? The cable has a bracket it mounts to behind the selector on the trans which provides the tension. Yeah, I guess that’s where the interference is, with the drivers side header.

Has anyone successfully swapped in a 4L80E while maintaining the column shifter? I know the shift linkage won’t clear the Hooker swap headers. Lokar makes a column shift cable kit that comes in 2” or 2 1/4” column sizes. My cars about an hour away from me right now, so I can’t measure. Has...

Yep, I’ve got a full BPR EFI sending unit and line kit. I’m about to grab a GN tank, I’ve just gotta figure out if I can reuse my filler neck, as Rock is out of the neck. Thank you! I’m in the metro Detroit area.

It’s actually pretty perfect for its age! No frame rust, rockers, fenders and trunk pan are spotless. Interior is 10/10, too!
