I recently purchased a 1984 Hurst Olds. It has the 307 engine. Some one has put headers and a new carb on it and it runs ok. Is the 307 worth a darn or is a motor swap in my future?
Awesome....lets see some pics man!!Although you cant beat an LS for power its starting to become a more common occurrence to open the hood and see an LS. I am trying to get one of every special G Body I have a Buick GN I bought new, An El Camino I rebuilt, this Hurst Olds and I'm looking for a Pontiac euro coup! I like to drive them!!
Keep in mind there were 3500 made. Several have seen horrible deaths, others just rotted away in someone's barn or field somewhere. I would guestimate that probably only half of the 84's are left alive at best.I recently purchased a 1984 Hurst Olds. It has the 307 engine.
