I'm just wondering what would cause a transmission to behave differently when timing is adjusted, pertaining to a 1981+ CCC equipped stock vehicle.
Factory transmissions aren't electronically controlled, but with timing changes or less than ideal running condition I have noticed the transmission shift points change and firmness in the shifts.
What would be the relation be between the two?
