I try to drive my Monte as much as I can in the summer when it is nice and take it to car shows where I always have someone tell me this is not a street car.
When I bought this 83' Monte is was a stock coupe with the CL option and came fully loaded with a 305 and the F41 suspension and was even sent out for an ASC power sunroof from the dealer when new. It came with light gray interior,60/40 seats, a half vinyl and a crapload of chrome but I had a different vision for the car.
Everything on my car I have built myself including the 565 Big Block Chevy with CNC AFR heads, I did the complete interior in camel color to offset the black and even made the upper door panels, I have modified everything on this car to handle the power of a BBC with Zex nitrous (capable of a 300 shot)
I also built the exhaust system which is 4-1/2" and ends with 4" tailpipes that go over the axle and are mounted directly to the roll bar.

Here's my 87 Buick Turbo T. Stored November to March. Doesn't hit the road until there isn't a trace of salt. Driven everywhere in the summer but trailered on long trips. Engine is a 274ci forged stroker based on a production 4.1 block with a custom roller cam and topped with M&A aluminum heads. Force fed by a Precision 7168 turbo through an RJC FMIC and back out through a 3in downpipe and RJC exhaust, controlled by FAST XFI. Backed by a full billet 200R4 and 9x11 converter. UMI and HR suspension parts, Aerospace billet front brakes, and a lot more misc mods. Has been in GM High Tech and GM EFI magazines, multiple show winner.
