Welcome to the site.

If the El Camino is all original it should still have the factory air shocks in place. If the springs are saggy maybe go with the A body or a pair of cargo coils as mentioned and look at putting some air in the rear shocks?
Thanks for the welcome , I have thought about the A body springs , just not sure how much it will raise the rear end , as far as the rear air shocks I never even checked to see if they were still in there ( I know pretty dumb on my part)) I bought the car and put in storage till spring so I haven't done a thing to it .

Looking forwards to pics and any planned updates on your El.
I actually never admitted this but initially what drew me to G body's was the El Camino and the 'longroofs'...such cool cars. I ended up getting a run of the mill SS instead.

You might have better luck if you start your own thread in the 'wanted' section. Once you go to the 'wanted' section, click on the button that says 'post new thread'. Welcome to the site from Houston by the way. I also encourage you to post a new thread in the 'new users' section where you can introduce yourself and show us some pics of your ride. You'll be happy with the response.

Yes, start your own thread, plus an introduction wouldn't hurt. I too would encourage you to place a want ad in the "wanted" section.
Otherwise, welcome to the site.
