Wow! That's some size building there, Jim.
Are you planning to store any RV's in there? Maybe a vintage fighter plane project? You know I'm pulling your chain....:)
It looks great, man. Absolutely love it. (y)
Jack, it already isn't big enough!

No matter how much space you plan and budget and build for, it is NEVER Enough. Even with enough height and apparent room to add a mezzanine floor, it still Won't Be Enough. Add a couple of retired Sea-Cans along side the building; yup, you got it, Still Not Enough! A square mile of property and no neighbours for 20 miles on any side and (see above)................................................................

More space for more crap just means you acquire more crap. Not seeing a problem here.

All true!!! I've been trying really hard to thin out the herd, it's pretty impossible though since everything I have I'll "need someday". And it never fails, whenever I get rid of something I need it 2 months later!

Kind of like the chicken/egg conundrum. As in "Which came first, the overflow of crap, or the shed to stow it in?"

Nick, my last house had a smallish garage, it was a hodge podge of additions so it had more walls. I was like 3 16x18 sheds in a row. I only could put one car in it, the rest was shelving units on all the walls. This shop obviously only has 3 usable walls to stack crap against, which is complicating things.

Go vertical. I see tons of unused wall real estate.

That is the plan. I have 32 14'x12' heavy duty shelve brackets coming, and on the left wall over the cabinets there will be 2 rows of shelves. I have a bunch of the black and yellow home depot bins I can organize crap up there. You know, the stuff you get into once a year.

One the right wall over the Vidmars and such, I will build a mezzanine, only 6' wide but it'll run most of the length of the wall.

The thing is, I still have a few tools to pull out that eat floor space, my Box and Pan brake and the Jump Shear being two biggies. I will also have an additional work bench I am picking up today that I can mount a few things on, like my Eastwood shear and the Arbor Press.
