Has anyone done a frame notch for their tie rods when running air suspension?
I know the s10 guys do it , but it seems if I where to do it the notch would be going into my crossmember. See attached photo. 20240716_165006.jpg 1000012488.jpg

I would avoid notching the frame whenever possible. Where you are planning to notch is already a stress zone which is a bad spot to weaken. Frame notches create stress risers and decrease beam rigidity. Instead reengineer your linkage to clear your frame.

This car being built for the frame to scrap pavement? Lowering the inner tierod with out measuring for bumpsteer isnt ideal. It can possibly make it better or worse.
