It's fused at the starter with a factory style fusible link.Did you put a 30 amp fuse on the red power wire to the blower relay? Hate to see heat damage sneak up on you at the new connector.
Even with the fusible link I'd still put one up by the relay. I've seem too many of those burnt/melted connectors cause GM bean counters removed that fuse in the mid '70's. Adding this to both Jr.'s & my Montes.It's fused at the starter with a factory style fusible link.
