BUICK 1964 Skylark Coupe Project

I haven’t commented much, but been following your progress Joe. Keep it up. The labor of love looks to be paying off.

I really liked your comment about building a car to drive vs. a show car.

Glad to have all of you following along, really helps with motivation.

We've had frigid temperatures all week but I got in the garage yesterday and made a couple pieces for the small rust areas in the windshield channel area. Picture doesn't do it justice but they fit really well.

I also ordered and received a patch piece for the rear window channel where there are some holes. Probably could've made it, but it wasn't very expensive and the less I have to fab the better.

The front clip is just sitting in place and I want to get it removed and set aside for now so that I can get the front frame rails stripped and painted and replaced the front suspension stuff. Probably just gonna go with cheap stock stuff from RockAuto for now, because there's a good chance it gets upgraded eventually.
