Where can I hook up a tap for an oil gauge on this block? Is it right next to the casting numbers on that ledge behind the water pump? It kind of looks like oil pressure sensor.
Yes, right there. The mid 70's Olds 350 were GM best 350 from that time. No issues with flat cams, unlike chevy. I have a ridiculous fortune in my Olds 350, SEFI conversion and will be getting the new Edelbrock 68cc heads, hopefully shipping this month and roller cam for around 400HP in a mild package.Around this area I think.
On the little shelf. That or perhaps above the oil filter?

It's too bad Olds didn't expand that manifold to the 307 with digital SEFI to replace the analog. My RPM was converted by Wilson manifolds. There us some argument that this manifold has better injector placement than my conversion. Problem is, this single plain is such a flat manifold, pretty sure it would struggle with higher rpms. Some have modified the intake to fit a sbc 350 TBI without the injectors and normal impedence later GM SEFI injectors.Every so often I Come across a caddy with the port efi 350.
At top of thread is a watch “button “ and will automatically update you.I'll have to look into these headers. I have a 350 SBO also. Replying to this thread so that I can be notified when it is updated. I don't know any other way to follow it.
