Better E- Fuel Pump

In tank is pretty easy. Just use a sending unit from a V6 TBI car. That's what I'm using with a Racetronix 255lph pump for a TPI Camaro. If you're still running a carb, you could probably get away with using a stock pump for a TBI motor. They run pretty low pressure. I'd never trust an external electric pump for anything street driven
Nice! I grabbed 255 from T.R.E. to stick in a '95 Impala tank with a Delco MU2430. I didn't think about the V6 TBI unit due to wanting a larger one. Those TBI tanks are baffled too, aren't they?

abbey castro: This pump and its location seem to work for you aside from seeing it hanging there. Maybe a little black panel or box could mask the pump's presence to anyone but you, and surely it could bolt to the frame easily. If not, magnets work.

I think there's a small amount of baffling in the V6 tank but I'm running the stock one with the V6 hanger and haven't had any issues yet

Yup, the engine starts right up instead of turning over a few times sort of primes it without pumping the gas pedal. It's wonderful!
Curious... what mechanical fuel pump are you using?

I have a ZZ4 crate engine as well and just running with a mechanical fuel pump.... carter(m6900) thats set @ 6psi along with a Holley 670SA carburetor.

I understand what you're trying to achieve, my 87 Monte LG4 if it sat for more than a day, I'd hafta windmill that thing for a bit before the engine would roar to life. Anyhoo...Idk if these would be any good but seem to recall our 1975 Monza V8 came with an external electric fuel pump. Seem to recall that they were very quiet and never had to change one in the entire time that it was in the family.
