Nice! I grabbed 255 from T.R.E. to stick in a '95 Impala tank with a Delco MU2430. I didn't think about the V6 TBI unit due to wanting a larger one. Those TBI tanks are baffled too, aren't they?In tank is pretty easy. Just use a sending unit from a V6 TBI car. That's what I'm using with a Racetronix 255lph pump for a TPI Camaro. If you're still running a carb, you could probably get away with using a stock pump for a TBI motor. They run pretty low pressure. I'd never trust an external electric pump for anything street driven
Yup, the engine starts right up instead of turning over a few times sort of primes it without pumping the gas pedal. It's wonderful! So the electric is a redundant pump in the system?
Curious... what mechanical fuel pump are you using?Yup, the engine starts right up instead of turning over a few times sort of primes it without pumping the gas pedal. It's wonderful!
