radiator options for LS swap?

For some peace of mind, I ran a stock MCSS radiator for two years with LS truck accessories. Plenty of street miles and 1/4 mile runs at 800-900whp. It worked just fine. But over 900 seemed to start getting hotter than I cared for on the return road. For a NA motor, there is no need for much of anything more than a stock G-body V8 radiator.
can't f*ck with that advise..

Ill be lucky if I get to 500whp with the 5.3 setup I am aiming for, so the stock V8 rad + dodge intrepid dual electric fans with the truck accessories should be ok. Later on I may build a LQ9 turbo setup and I feel the same cooling setup should be fine. I hope the stock style V8 rad fits the GN rad support but I do not see why it wouldn't as it should be the same as a regular regal.

Well I purchased a G Body V8 radiator from ebay, and what arrived looked very thin. 5/8" core. I am tempted to return this thing as it seems way too thin, or should I stick with it?

For comparison, I also had a stock style radiator in my LS swapped MCSS and that radiator was over an inch thick:

This is a perfect fit from TurboNasty for a G body. Fit's right in the rubber isolation pads. Has threaded coolant hose connections for any size and style of radiator hose.
Also has a port for LS steam port connection.
They have top hose on driver's side if needed.
