check fuel pressure, might need to adjust the idle speed. im guessing the tbis come preset, but if they're anything like reman qjets theyre usually set wrong.
Added some washers to the lights to straighten them out, and found the torsion bars were nearly bottomed out on the low side. raised em up quite a bit, about a finger width from max, uh, insertion... and the plow mount hasn't bottomed out yet so I call that a win. Gained about 1.5" at least.
Installed some neato Grote lights i got off marketplace for $75.
Yes, they're too close and too high. This plow setup is some cobbled together farmer nonsense, but it works and works well. I'll make some angle brackets to lower and spread them out when it's not -11 outside, like it was while i...
Exterior wall on unheated add on porch with open entry into kitchen. It's about 15 degrees cooler on average than the rest of the house. I sent crawled through the crawlspace and put hands on the clear plastic lines. They weren't that Cold. As said for comparison, my fridge is colder.
I ohm'd out the water inlet valve, value stayed at 1, so i guess it'd bad. There is frost on the wall of the crawlspace by where the lines go up to the little cubby where the taps are in the wall on the ground floor, but they aren't frosty or cold to the touch, it's fairly warm down there. A can...
****ing washing Machine decided to stop taking in and dispensing water, and at the same time it's drain pipe location in the wall seems plugged solid for some reason. Worked perfectly fine the last time we used it.
Hooked these up so I can see at night with the plow. Old lights were full of bees and non functioning. Pretty damn bright for the price. didnt like the wire and stuff they came with, so I bought my own. But, it is a complete kit. Has a fuse holder too.
I really like the look of this radio, and to be honest I'm not opposed to having a cd unit in my car.
My question is, can this radio handle more power (bass/sub) than my current eq tape deck? Or would it be pointless to swap?
I've killed two fuel pumps on my buick 350, they can use the same pump as a 3.8, the 3.8 arm is just a bit longer. It would idle but under any throttle at all it would starve and die.
My guess is the ignition module. iirc the factory .080 gap for olds engines was killing modules trying to fire it. Change the module, and get some spark plugs with a .045 gap and see if that helps. Dont forget to clean off the old thermal paste and apply some new. It should come in a packet with...
Smack the top of the carb with a ratchet while its running. could just be stuck. in my limited time messing with qjets, i've never encountered a "bad" float. Nitrophyl or brass. Maybe just luck?
Or find an intake without egr. Kind of an expensive workaround. Otherwise, use some thick stuff. There's exhaust pressure there. Sheet metal wont work. has to be at least 1/8".
