What did you do to your non-G Body project today [2024 edition]

Hung out this weekend at a local car show with my youngest daughter. On Friday we pulled the 32 Ford in the shop for some repairs and upgrades. I swapped out the valve cover gaskets with the quality steel core deals from Felpro. I also swapped the old accel locked advance distributor with no...

What did you do to your non-G Body project today [2024 edition]

Rear Main seal on the father-in-laws 05 1500 Chevy, along with a diff oil change and RF wheel bearing/hub. So glad I have a trans jack! This is a Gray 1000, air over hydraulic 2 stage. Got the Father-in-Law scraping some gastkets. Just a tray of bolts and tools, cheap old HF cart...

What did you do to your shop today?

I swept my floor and vacuumed it, lol. Saving big projects for winter time, as the weather will only be nice for a few more weeks I'm sure, so outdoor items are priority.

It's nice to not remove the hood if you don't have too!

    BUILD THREAD “The Juggernaut”

Looks awesome! I know how time consuming it is custom shortening, tucking, and painting bumpers! Though you went for much sharper lines than I did! Alo, the filler and lights look great! Looking forward to the installed photos.

    1980 Buick V6 in my 51 HenryJ

Looks like a great project. The 3.8L Buicks are fine little engines, and have aftermarket support.

Jack, I hope your health issues improve. though we can't escape age! I know how you feel with re-evaluating possessions and life. My brother and I have both done that, and just decided to finish our junk and drive.

BUILD THREAD 81 Buick/Olds Turbo Wagon 02/15/2024 More Parts!

Man I hate that I am not driving this! With Power Tour 2024 over, we have the 55 Chevy on one lift now, and the other free for daily activities. Once the 55 is out, I plan on towing the wagon back and getting the oil pan off to see what the noise is. Concurrently, I am ordering up the...

I wanna try, I only live 25 minutes away. Though I have some side work tomorrow so it is likely not in the cards. But, if anyone cares stop by the mountain garage, I'm here!

BUILD THREAD 36x48x14 Shop Build Update 10/10/2024, Additional Lighting

With power tour 2024 complete, there will be a few shop upgrades coming. One is an air lines system, as stretching hoses across the shop sucks. Some addition lighting over the benches and boxes, and hopefully before the winter studded and additionally insulated walls, though money will dictate...

What did you do to your non-G Body project today [2024 edition]

Still cranking away on the 55 Chevy, did a ton of electric upgrades/repairs. Swapped out the center section in the diff last night. I still have to make a nitrous solenoid brackets, tie into the fuel system, and install two 5 point harnesses. Power Tour 2024 is coming fast, we are long...

    Headlight Restoration

Damn, looks good. I literally just sanded and polished my daughter's GMC Acadia last week. Though I went to 5000 grit trizact, and then clearcoated them. This looks quicker and easier, lol.

What did you do to your non-G Body project today [2024 edition]

The 55 Chevy made it to the mountain garage from Jersey, 175 miles, the most its ever been driven in one stretch. The trip was mostly uneventful, the gas gauge stopped working, the fuel cell sender is crappy, and the rear started howling, ughh! Not what we need right now. Oh, and the...
