Well what do you expect when people constantly vote down funding for programs like wood shop and auto shop for their own damn kids. Don't blame the kids for being dumbed down when their parents made it that way
The good thing about having a real low compression engine to start out is that a simple head swap will change everything. I never really understood the effects on more compression until I helped a buddy swap out heads on his 383(Mopar) to lower CC aluminum heads. Was a night and day difference...
Beat me to it. I love the tired and all too cliche "DEm dAMn MilLEniALs" arguement....who the hell do you think raised them? The answer is the people that need a safe space from said millenials :ROFLMAO:
Now get me my participation trophy that your generation invented please
Funny you say that. I'm actually looking for a steering wheel. I'm doing away with the chrome in the interior so I could see myself with something like yours but satin black spokes. And thanks for the compliment!
Thanks! I bet you're getting antsy. That's how I was when I was within reach of hearing it run. It's funny you say Do It For Dale. This is a pic I took a few months back lol
I might be behind some of ya but the aerocoupe is finally out of its hibernation. Was able to wash it and take a few pics after it's dust covered slumber in which I made quite a few changes. Mostly unseen wiring and boring stuff like that. I think once upon a time I had a build thread but I'm...
I had the same issue. I could steal it from work but I eventually found a C&W Paint store within 30 minutes from me that carried MRO. I haven't had luck with any other so called engine paint before. Just google MRO dealers near you. There's gotta be one. Or just order it online. $12 for a big...
If there's anything I can say it's stay away from Duplicolor. Look up a paint called MRO, or better yet I will post a link. I cleaned and cleaned and cleaned my engine before using Duplicolor and the sh*t was peeling within months. Get gas or degreaser on it and forget about it. I learned about...
I totally missed where you got the FiTech running. Glad to know it worked out for you. I have the 800hp Meanstreet FiTech on my 496 and there's nothing cooler than it firing up with a blip of the key and not needing babysat. No matter what carb I had on it I always had to pump it and baby sit it...
How many miles do you have on it since? When I put the new springs in the front of my car it sat very high until I drove it. Even with the all iron big block and 2" drop spindles the front end was way up there. I drove it around and it settled.
American Racing must pull people from local auto parts stores to be on the tech line.
No offense to the OP or people that use those wheels, but the fact that 90% of the hotrods out there have those exact wheels, I'd say screw the load rating and run them.
I guess im just surprised that Craigslist is still used. I've been using Facebook Marketplace for a while and never had an issue. Way less tire kicking and scamming than Craigslist.
