    2wd vs AWD Astro Steering Shaft

    I was able to pick up two Astro steering shafts today. One from a 2wd and the other from an AWD. I have looked and looked and know the AWD is approximate 1" to 1-1/4'' longer than the 2wd. However I have been unable to find out if the AWD shaft will indeed work or not? Can anyone pin this down?

    Sleeper line lock hideout.

    As I get older i am constantly looking for lost creativity. I have a sleeper 78' malibu that i raced enough times last year I've started to think about rear brake/drum wear. I want to install a linelock on the car. Any slick ideas on where to hide the switch and underhood solenoid? Thanks,

    Stock 78' 305 wire loom location

    Took this engine apart for rebuild 6 months ago and can't for the life of me remember where on the block this wire loom was located on my 78 malibu 305 block. If I remember right it came off the driver side but I may be wrong. I'm attempting to make this rebuild look as stock as I can.

    I swore I read somewhere that the 1978 Malibu was a 1 year only spindle that is separate from the 79-up. Is this true? I need to purchase a stock driver side spindle for my 78 malibu as the one on the car has stripped caliper mounting bolt holes. I just wanna know what will or won't work...
