And I just sold my go-getter so now I have some cash for a G-body. Looking for a Monte or Regal this time around. 8)

Just thought I would give you all a little update... Went to the swap meet in Lawrence, KS yesterday and found me a little something.

Well after seeing that picture you posted I just might have to do that. The 260 is purring like a kitten though. 101, 000 miles. Gets up and goes without dying in seconds from a cold start. Even in 33 degree weather, which I found out today. :mrgreen:
I see. Well in that case, I'll just use the 260 as long as it will last. It's running like a top. And yeah if an Edelbrock would cause worse MPG, there is no point. Thanks for the tip! :mrgreen:
Update: Some under the hood photos.
We put on replacement chrome valve covers and a new Edelbrock air cleaner. Took ALL DAY. Olds 260 V8's are not easy to access. The next step will be rehosing and rewiring the whole engine bay, because right now it is a factory MESS. :x
