    If its loose enough you can pry it up to swing the opposite way. If not you have to use a Dremmel tool to open up the spring holder a little and shave down the stop a slight bit.

    Nope can not do from bottom. It swings the opposite way. I did manage to figure it out. You have to take it apart and reassemble in the open position. Then put on car and close it.

    Pics of cover It will not swing the opposite way. You cannot take it apart and put back together on car. It's crazy.

    Does anyone know how to get the bottom hole in the 78-80 Monte Carlo trunk lock cover exposed? I have a. Brand new one and for the life of me cannot figure it out. Thanks.

    I need to know how to install the 78-80 trunk lock cover on my car....... does it attach with rivets? and how do you get the bottom one on?

    well the car is finally at the bodyshop. It had its first sanding. I was shocked to see that it had a green fron t bumper and a blue back one haha. looking smooth, check out that red beast on the lift Blue rear bumper lines looking good

    Great progress on the car. You did a good job on the hood. Hopefully the new trans works out. I have the trans go shift kit in my 200 4r trans and it works good.

    Thanks !! I almost went with the boss but got a great deal on the riddler's. plus I had a friend with my front tires brand new he was not using. I am on a budget here lol.
