Ok so the 403 Im buying came with transmission. At first i hoped it would be 350 for an easy swap (from 200), But now im thinking its a 400. The motor and transmission were in the car still and i couldnt get under the car to see the pan/count the bolts. They are in a '79 Olds 98 so 400 seems more likely...

I have a chance to buy either a 77 olds 403 with edelbrock performer intake says its rebuilt with 10k km, or a 78 olds 350, Im guessing stock. I can also get a set of 72 7a heads for the 403. Just wondering should I just get the 350. Or get the 403, keep the original heads/ put the 350 heads...

my 305 has a edelbrock carb 1406 electric choke 600cfm. now im curious about setting the screws properly and what considerations i have to make. will stuff like fuel line size, air cleaner/filter size etc effect how i should set them or is there a "standard" setting for them. thanks

just curious to know where and how you guys run your dual exhaust. I was thinking about running true dual and getting a notched crossmember and exiting in front of the rear wheels, or grand national style. Or just a Y-pipe and same locations for the tips. Any pics would be welcomed. thanks...
