I ran 2" billet aluminum spacers (giving me 3.825" back spacing) with no issues. the car still sat a bit high in the front for me, almost like a stock height in appearance. I added Bell tech...

New wheels finally on the car..

The 40 series tires are to short. The 225-45-18 I am using is 26.1" diameter, and the 245-45-18 is 26.4" I wanted to keep the diameter as close to 26" as possible so it wouldn't screw up the speedometer. I ran 235-60-15 before these.

New wheels finally on the car..

[QU OTE="JimmyP70, post: 473460, member: 17710"]I a lot I took a lot of measurements before buying these. They fit perfect. The only thing I would do different is use larger (wider) tires. 225-45-18 in the front, no rubbing full lock to full lock. I could easily fit a 245. I am running...

New wheels finally on the car..

The adapters I bought were specifically made to mount to the M12 hub/ axle and have M14 studs for the wheels. I am using the stock double threaded lug nuts to mount the center caps. Check out the link I posted above.

    Buick Turbo v6 to N/A v6 compatibility

I am purchasing a low mile 85 Buick turbo v6 long block. I will not be running a turbo with this engine. Just some head porting, cam swap, new oil pump and gaskets. I will be using a Holly 390 cfm and Edelbrock intake. I believe the 85 turbo was a distributorless ignition. Does it have...

3.8 v6 2 bbl carb randomly surging to full throttle

I am having a random problem with my 87 Cutlass, up to 94k original miles now. The car, after coming to a stop usually, will suddenly go full throttle just by tapping the gas pedal. It is very random, and unpredictable. It is a completely stock v6 with all original equipment still installed...

    Shock opinions

I went w/ the KYB gas-adjust shocks. They are a bit "soft" to me. I am running SPC coil springs (From Savitske Performance, http://scandc.com/new/node/106 ), 535lb front, 135lb rear, and stock F41 front and rear sway bars. 87 Cutlass, v6. Looking for a stiffer shock.
