How did the event go? I was hoping to make it, but as I was working on my car I got carried away, and started more projects on it then I could get finished in time.

Thursday night after work I cut the frame. I cut it along the factory weld which will give me about 3/4"o 1" more room. That should be plenty. I welded it all back together Saturday, and it looks pretty good. I have plenty of room with the new 10' wide wheels(5" back spacing) and 26" x 11.5" Et...

I found some 15" x 10" centerline wheels that I'll be using on the rear. I will be cutting the frame a little to fit them in. Want to stay with at least 28 x 10.5 or maybe a little wider.

Anything is an improvement over the Oldsmobile engine it originally came with. And it wasn't a turbo Buick so it's all fair. Besides the cost of building a 455 would have been much more then I've got into the sbc. It's much faster then 10:50's anyway.
