Thank You 69hurstolds. I'm pretty sure the short bolts and nuts you listed are the same ones I ordered & received. I recently ordered & received these for the longer forward most bolts...

Can I remove a lower A arm bolt without completely disassembling the suspension ?

64nailhead, Thank You for your input. I plan on doing things very similar to what to you have explained, inc. the use of a jack. I will need to buy a punch big enough if this don't help.

Can I remove a lower A arm bolt without completely disassembling the suspension ?

Rt Jam, I think most of what was missing is due to the bolts being most likely original to the car. I purchased the car in 2005. Drove it maybe a dozen times in 2 years. It sat in & out of non climate controlled garages until about 4 years ago, when I got really into a drivetrain modifications...

Can I remove a lower A arm bolt without completely disassembling the suspension ?

Yes 403Olds I am talking about the lower A arms. I thought the same thing about using a temporary bolt (most likely the old one from pass side) to keep A arm in place. I hadn't really considered using the spring compressor. I was going to use a floor jack but now I will probably use both. May...

Can I remove a lower A arm bolt without completely disassembling the suspension ?

Sorry if I over explain my situation. I've been in the process of putting my front suspension back into the car. I already fully installed the drivers side, except for fully threading on the lower A arm nuts. I was doing the same on the passenger side and decided to start tightening the nuts...

Damn...I was so excited it never crossed my mind. I'm still waiting to get my motor back from machinist. I also have to decide on who is getting my money for a performance transmission. So mock up is going to be a bit.

    Compressor compatibility

I have a 1986 Buick Regal Limited that came factory with an Oldsmobile 307 & 200-4R transmission & factory A/C. I'm motor swapping it to a modified Buick 455 from a 1976 Buick Electra. I have all the A/C components that came with 1986 Buick Regal minus the compressor. I have the 1976 Buick 455's...
