'87-88 Olds Cutty Header Panel Dilema

Thanks for the detailed and insight. Yeah, after doing further research I have came to the same conclusion but great to know from others with GBody experience. Am worried about frame damage but am hopeful it is ok, yet as you said, hard to tell until it is pulled a part. 35mph collision might be...

'87-88 Olds Cutty Header Panel Dilema

Little over a month back my Cutty and I were cut off by 2 morons that basically damaged the front passenger bumper and fender side. Minor damages, easy to repair, yet the Euro header panel is a massive pain to find, yet price gougers out there hoard them and sell at absorbent prices. However...

Elusive 22039684 Windshield Wiper Motor Cover

Recently my wiper motor stopped spraying with the washer motor so I replaced the motor to no avail. The motor then seemed to act up when wiping the windshield so I replaced the motor that came without the cover and circuit board Part #22039684. The wipers operate normally even when trying to use...

What did you do to your non-G body project today? [2020]

Finally found that elusive part that I need for the shifter cable. Apparently GM has the part listed as a "selector cable spring". After much searching under that name and part number, I thought to myself that this looks more like a Clip than a Spring. Once I changed the search to clip I found...

A parts wish list thread for the aftermarket to repop

Agreed! I'm having a similar issue with the lower door weatherstrips. The tops fit in perfectly, but the bottom ones don't match up to the top screw holes. Everything else looks fine and seats fine, but when I close the door I have extra resistance. Trying to figure out how to modify it so it...

    1980 cutlass stolen in Miami

Really sucks to hear another gear head loose their ride like this! Back in 2018 I woke up to look out the window to see my 88' Cutty not parked where I left her. I'm beyond relieved that they found her the next day, but the stress almost killed me. I'm still trying to piece her back together to...

Cutlass at Millerstown Pic a Part

Oh I hear ya about the trunk. That would be awesome but right now I'm a little tapped on funds. Plus, there's a lot more I'd like to get and need like the LH windshield trim or even the running boards on the interior. But what I really need is a Selector Cable Spring part #470779. Not sure this...

Cutlass at Millerstown Pic a Part

Wow! Nice! Too bad PA is a little far from me. I'm currently trying to get my '88 Cutlass Supreme back on the road and see some pieces that I need. Not quite sure if the trunk lid would fit my car but way better than the rust on mine. Those tail lights look great and I need to replace one badly...

    New to the GBody forums

Not quite sure, but right now just trying to keep it original and look into options to modify. I might modify the Flowmaster exhaust ends so they don't drag on the ground on bad roads. Other than that I am just trying to get it back into it's former glory state.

    New to the GBody forums

Thanks and glad to be a part of the forum. I'm not quite sold that it is an authentic GT since there isn't a plaque on the middle console like I have read on other sites that say only 400 have been made and they are supposed to have a plaque indicating which number it is. I could be wrong.

Lol yeah I was laughing my *ss off when I saw that before I bought it. And yes, I might have a few cassette tapes laying around.

Thanks but the wagon isn't mine. It belongs to the same guy that I bought it from. The pics of the Cutty is taken when I was checking out the car before I bought it the next day.

    New to the GBody forums

Thought I'd post a little about myself and the Gbody car I have acquired luckily this past Feb. My name's Joe and have lived all over this great nation for the past 43 years. I recently bought a 1988 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Classic from a friend's father who had no idea what it was or how...

What did you do to your G-Body today? [2011-2018]

I put in an order for an oil pan gasket and a ported vacuum switch. Now the fun part comes when I have to drop the oil pan to replace the seal. Not sure the full process but heard that I have to raise the motor and remove the motor mounts to get the right clearance to remove the pan.
