It's not a window issue! I just fixed the same issue on my '78 Monte Carlo. You need to replace your door hinge bushings (both upper and lower) or replace the hinges. On my '78 Monte, I remounted my driver's side fender and attached the hood hinge after replacing both door hinges and getting the door adjusted just right. Still have a few bolts to go... Also epoxied the new turn signal lens to the housing since I had it all apart.

Yesterday I installed my new AC condenser in the '78 Monte. This was the last part of my total AC rebuild. I charged it, drove it, but it still wasn't cool enough. Today, I purged the system, recharged it and it's chilling now!
