Wow the same thing that happened just over a year ago just happened on the driver side. Looking for a driver side hood hinge now. Metal just broke right through. Ugh.

Hey everybody, my 84 GP is in need of all new rubber and metal lines for the fuel/brakes. Does anyone know where to find some replacements, or am I gonna have to go junkyard shopping? I looked up several sites and they sell brake kits and new calipers and the like, but new lines don't seem...

I also bought soffseal gaskets and I'm not too happy about them either. The gasket that fits on the t-top started pulling apart at the seam because it was too short. I sent them out and received replacements, but now they are doing it again. They have only been on the car for about 2 years.

Guess there's nothing here...but on Ebay I did managed to find the exact hinge I was looking for for 50 bucks + 20 shipping. So hopefully my GP will have a working hood again soon. Thanks anyway!

Hi all. Recently, the hood hinge on the passenger side of my GP gave up. It seems the metal was fatigued after all these years and actually cracked through. Does anyone have an extra passenger side hinge they are willing to sell, or do they make aftermarket hinges? I figured I would try here...

I took the dashboard out of my 84 GP to solve some other issues, and decided to replace the front speakers. Put new Pioneer ones in, and like 3 months later they blew up. Took the dash out again, and cut the grills out, and viola, now my speakers are top loading for easy access! Good luck...
