Has anyone ever had any problems with the transmission cross member not lining up with a thm-350. I have just swapped in a pontiac 455 and a thm-350 which was also in the pontiac car, into my 83 cutlass and the cross member doesn't line up. Anybody have any ideas what I may have did wrong?

Can anyone tell me if the exterior door handles are the same for all G-bodys including El caminos. I am looking to buy a new set from year one and they only list them for 78-87 el caminos but I think they sould be the same for all. Correct me if I am wrong. Thanks in advance.
