I have the same master, actually the pedal feels really good. Not sure what prop valve op used, i used a cheapo disc/disc valve that everyone sells.
Only thing that sucks is the factory master sat at an angle so this one tilts up a little in the front just looks strange

Cool build thread. I have the JT driveshaft loop in my malibu, doesn't look too bad under the car my 3" driveshaft fits fine in it and I also have a pypes x pipe exhaust and it clears.
Also, no red/blue ecm will read oil pressure, just the later blue/greens
Definately monte doors looks like someone did some work to the quarters too. My 83 quarters sweep out right under the quarter windows.
Sucks because there aren't repro gp sheet metal. Good luck
My malibu has a 6.0 ls engine. Not sure what I'm going to put it in yet. Someone was replacing the engine at work with a junkyard one and I paid the core because I've always wanted one. I think it'll end up going in either a c10 or a 80s suburban. The part that sucks is there not alot of...
I have a 2 Dr but a guy from work has used the aeromotive stealth kit that you cut a hole in the tank and put the foam in with their sender and bolt in place. May be the easiest and quickest solution
Hey everybody, picked up an 83' grand prix lj recently off Craigslist and planning to make a decent driver out of it until I can raise the body and really get into it. Right now I'm in the middle of another project so this one will be sort of a side project.
Well I raised it up to get a good...
This is my first post in a while thanks for showing all of your progress. Hopefully you keep it for a while and continue the repairs. I bought a car that ends up needing some sheet metal work
Lookin good warren. That's an awesome idea for the parking brake cable brackets. Im gonna steal that idea for sure this week.
I know its not your style, but any idea what the smallest wheel you can fit on the front is?
rockauto grand national box and no problems here. feels good on the street. lots more to address besides a steering box if you are trying to improve handling on these cars
Lets see some pictures. Your hp goals are pretty obtainable without getting too stupid enough to drive on the street. I went the expensive route and bought a full car painless harness

Have you tried spraying off the line? Nothing other than more power or more practice I think would be the best way to drop your 60 at this point
I go 11.30's and get 1.5 60's and its all motor. Tubular rear uppers and lowers, 90/10 front 50/50 drag shocks rear, same tires as yours
Are you...
5.25 backspacing for the front seems like alot. It would be hard to tell you if they fit or not without basically trying them. I had an issue with not being sure if wheels would fit on my car, so I ordered 4 different wheels from summit. Returned the 3 that didn't fit. Cost me $80 shipping but...
