Thank you so much for this. I bought ones off Ebay many years ago and put them on the car. Have had a vibration since before then but got it much better but not completely gone. This must be it. Anybody know which would have been factory on an 86 442?

I put the spectra in my 86 back in 2009 or 10. I can hang meat in my car. I think you'll be happy with the results.

2 and 3 are for the power antenna if I'm not mistaken, and the green one I also have and is not used, I can't remember whats its actually for at the moment. Electric choke option?

You verified there is power going into the sender. Now check if voltage is coming out with the car running. If yes, wiring or gauge fault. If no, sender fault.

You can actually still buy them new. I bought mine last summer from GM. Prices weren't bad either. Good luck!

Front wheel bearings. Changed one led bulb in the dash too. Still need to time her and change the trans mount... soon...
