Ok I feel like a total idiot but today I decided I wanted to Change the spark plugs in my 83 Cutlass but when I put The 13/16 spark plug socket on It didnt fit. Im positive its the right size but it seems like the socket is to wide. Am I missing something?

So today i decided I wanted to Change the valve cover gaskets on my 83 Cutlass Brougham because there is some small leaks. Also i wanted to repaint them. When I called Canadian tire they said there were three sizes What size do i need for the Chevy 305?

Fair enough thanks for the input guys. Right now im just looking for a 350 to get so more power maybe in a year when i have a larger budget I will start putting on more performance parts.

Is there a certain year i can use up to? ex. Can i use it from a 92 chevy or does it have to be from a G body?

So today I was searching for a new intake manifold for my 83 Cutlass Brougham with the 305 and found a EDELBROCK SP2-P manifold. What do you guys think of this manifold. Im on a shoe string budget and get this manifold for 90 bucks.

The proper firing order for the v8 is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 you switched the 6 and 5
