You are likely correct but that doesn't mean its safe. I'm talking about my 5 year old son and my 4 year old daughter. If there is a better way to do it that will make it safer for my kids...I'm interested.
The local police were set up yesterday doing a car seat clinic. I stopped and asked...
I was just searching on the turbobuick site and one guy had a solution.
There is a website called wesco performance and they do retrofit and aftermarket seatbelts.
I didnt see anything for rear seats on the wesco site so the guy on the buick site must have used one of their front seat kits in...
I'm bringing this thread back from the dead because I have the same question.
Did you find anything?
Has anyone come across anything?
I have a 4 yr old and a 5 yr old.
The 4 year old for now is in a car seat which has its own shoulder belts but the 5 year old is in a booster seat so I want him...
I'm not the expert but if you look at this picture the center section with the cylinder and the large gear around it needs to be rotated inside the housing so we can see the other side of it. We don't need to see what is behind it, the thing in the middle just needs to be turned around so it is...
I've sold a few cars over the years and recently started putting "sold 'as-is', no warranty expressed or implied." I know just stating 'as-is' is likely enough but you never know who you are dealing with. Put it in writing!
Thanks I wasn't clear.
I don't know how balancers shift either. I was thinking that it would shift and stay shifted but again I don't know. Maybe someone can jump in who has first hand knowledge.
I didn't start the car after replacing the balancer. It was 9pm and I have 2 small children that...

Installed the new one anyway.
Whats next?
Timing light?
Distributor?
Thanks Pontiacgp.
Amazing what you learn after you buy stuff.
My engine was supposed to be a budget build. I started collecting parts thinking I could do it for $3000.
When I passed the $3000 mark I said screw it and likely more than doubled my original budget.
The damper and distributor...
Thanks. I do have a good amount of money in my setup but cant help but drool when I read your signature.
I will look into the brand name balancers. Damn, I just want to drive this thing.
I'm having a bit of a memory issue. I bought all this stuff over 1.5 years ago.
I am 90% sure it is internally balanced.
Wow, that hurt. I haven't thought it once in a year.
Thanks again.
Thanks.
I never had my car at 1300rpms. that was just an example of what it would need to be at so it would not stall when I put it in gear.
Everything will fall into place once a new damper is installed.
