yeah zoop seal is like a seal for the polish, it doesn't last forever but it does allow you to not polish as often. as far as heat, i dunno but i do know that a lot of motorcycle folks use it on some engine stuff

anything bigger than a 22 and a decent tire needs some clearence, plus its more of the southern style to ride high

there is a product called zoop seal for billet stuff that seals wheels for a crazy amount of time so you don't have to polish them all the time, not sure how it works for non-billet stuff.
