Hi all, What's the benefit of solid motor mounts? and and would they be recommended for regular street use? just curious I'm going to build some and wondering if I should run them or not.

Now that I think of it, I don't think it did, but it had so many other things going on that it may have. The engine only has 72,000 miles, but the guy who had it before me never changed the oil. when I got the car there were five lobes worn off the cam.

So my Malibu has been fouling plugs, One plug had some build up on it, looked like it was growing something. the other two were just wet. Here's what I've done to the engine. I recently rebuilt the heads new valve seals, springs, cleaned the head resurfaced it,and new head gaskets. I do smell...

Thanks, I am only looking to stay within a budget, and want to do things as I have the money so I think I'm going to build up my 305 a bit. and maybe down the road pick up a 350 besides my 305 only has 68,000 miles on it.

Thanks guy's, I was thinking of rebuilding a 350 over the spring and dropping it in. But wasn't sure if I could just fix up the 305 in the car just weighing out options thanks for the input so far.

Hi There, Just curious if I can get alot of power out of a 305, and what it intales to do so. so far I put a 350 cam in it and it seems pretty good sounds like a big motor. just not really sure if it's worth putting to much into. any feed back will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Sorry it took me so long to get back, thank you all for the info. It was the cam after all finished up yesterday started her up today runs awesome. the only problem I'm having now is when it gets hot and I turn it off it cranks really slow and won't start almost like the timing is way to far...

So if I buy a 350 cam will it fit in a 305 I'm assuming it's a 350 because it has the 4 barrel.
