The best thing ever about Bald Hill was going sledding, and sneaking into summer concerts. The Suffolk Meadows swapmeet used to be pretty good in the early 90's, my brother used to work for M&M scrap on Peconic Ave in Medford, he could buy stuff at outgoing scrap price and we would sell stuff at that swap meet. You would not believe some of the stuff that cam.e in, tri power intakes, more 4 bbl intakes and carbs than one man could ever use, Muncies (many still good!) and all manner of aluminium rocker covers. Not to mention a 12 bolt 3.42 posi rear end for a 69 Camaro with multi leafs........ and the little sh*t had a 69 Camaro that needed a new rear (327 car originally Daytona yellow with black hockey stick stripe and yellow houndstooth interior) when he dropped a driveshaft in his attempt to race me on the WB exit 66 expressway service road .............Sorry I got lost in a moment there.
