I'm starting to think there is something different going on in the mind of the wagon owners here, can't seen to leave them as family haulers. 😛

Holy add ons, Batman! That reminds me of a Honda Ridgeline that some old dude had around here. He had towel bars as bed rails, drawer pulls in the grille 50's style, and a bunch of other "junk" on it. There's also a 007'ed out Hyundai CUV-thing out there. Then, there's thisView attachment 76388

Looks like this sat in the water to long and barnacles found a new home.

Updates- the body and paint guy from work came by and with a few minutes and a hydraulic porta power pushed on the 1/4 panel here and there and said it'll be fairly easy to move it back into shape and has agreed to work on the car at his house, mostly train my son Roman to do body work as they work on it together. That's the good news for Roman and his Coppertop. The good news for me is I get to keep the Madwagon for myself and make it a driver.

The bad news is last Saturday Roman had another car accident. The same thing happened, he was just cruising down the road at about 40 mph and someone pulled from a side street. Roman swerved around the front of the car barely missing it but he locked up the brakes and slid off the road and hit a cinder block wall. There were witnesses and they said the other car just took off but no one got the plate # because they were focused on Roman. This was in his 90 S10 that he bought to drive while the wagon was down, and while waiting on the insurance settlement $ for the wagon to keep his mind off it he started fixing up the truck little by little as he was driving it. He was doing some body work, painted it all flat white, had 17" steel wheels on it, and over the last 6 months or so has collected all the parts for a 400+ hp 350 (from his wagon) swap, even found a great deal on a local guy that had a 90's LT1 T56 that he bought. Only parts left to buy was a clutch kit and flywheel that he was saving for and we were going to assemble and install it all. On deck was lowering it, he already has spindles and blocks for that. Luckily he wasn't hurt at all, but after putting the truck on a frame rack at a friends shop he told us it's toast. The worst part is because he didn't make contact with the other vehicle, and despite having a police report with witnesses, the insurance company won't cover it since it just had the basic insurance on it. He pretty well said "I'm done with cars!" after that. He's calmed down a bit over the last coupla days and may have found a new frame and front clip in the junkyard but he's got to wait a couple weeks to save up the cash for it. Looks like we'll be rebuilding two vehicles for him now.

If you all are religious or believe in the energy of the universe or some higher power, remember us in your prayers. Roman could use them, $'s tight with his teenager type job and we could use some thoughts specifically that that we can get the wagon's settlement over with and finally get some $ to start the repairs on the wagon. I think him seeing progress will help keep his spirits up and him moving forward, and I'm a strong believer in prayers. Thanks in advance everyone.

Wow, when it rains it pours. Glad he is okay. Vehicles can be replaced, people can't.

Thanks Joe. Yes it does. We had a long chat about plans last night. I'm really impressed, he's hanging tough and staying hopeful to not let anything stop him.

Damn... maybe he should consider taking the bus? 😉

Forget that... tell him to get right back at it because life is too short - and these near misses ain't helping.

Man that sucks, I've watched a few of his YouTube videos documenting the S10.
