18x8.5 and 18x9.5 on a 79 Monte Carlo?

Here is My cutlass on the 18's i mentioned earlier. The only issues i had with those particular rims was because of the center cap on the front i had to get wheel spacers and longer studs. And they dont make studs to fit that rotor short enough for acorn lug nuts so i had to cut them.

i got more in my album but not of the rims, she is sitting on jackstands awaiting having the spool pulled and replaced with a detroit locker or posi. Also and lowered in the front and stiffened in the rear.

just found awesome deal about some bridgestone potzenzas in 285/35-18. what do you think, they'll fit with the 18x9.5??

I believe that will be wider with maybe about the same size sidewall. Its probably gonna be to wide. You may be able to roll the fenders and be ok.
